What is a Shackle?
A shackle is a connector with a specific shape. All shackles have four definitive parts: The bow (curved part), the ears (supporting the pin), the pin (steel bolt), and the shoulder. Anchor and bow shackles feature an "O" shape for multi-directional connections, while "D" shackles are narrower and should not be side-loaded.
